@Final: Awh! How cute and what a great name. ^^ I named my golden lab Yuki, because her coat was almost pure white during her first few months. I think we're allowed to be silly with our pets names. Long as we don't curse the kids and name them Apple. >.>

Bah! Sakura con is coming up so quickly and I have so much left to do!! I am nearly done with the embroidery on my gloves though which is nice, but the list of things left to do for Terra is ever so long. I have to keep chipping away at it slowly and hope I make it before the con. :P I hope everyone else is less stressed than me.

@tifaia - I'll probably take my kids names a little more seriously as well. Although some of the character's names would make good names for kids.

@seifer - How is Sakura con compared to Fanime? I've thought about going since I have some friends who live up there in Seattle? I can understand the stress part. I always wait just a little too much to the last minute at times with my costumes, although I'm getting better. I'm now doing what I can to get Duke from Vesperia done before a mini-con (only one day) next weekend.

@ Final Evangelion: Sakura con is a nice con. It's a big smaller than Fanime, but I still have a good time there. I would recommend that if you do go to bring warmer and waterproof costumes. It's cold and of course, rainy. It's nice though. I have a month left to get everything done, so I am probably stressing over nothing, but I always feel like the few weeks left before a convention always go by the fastest. I did get lots of work done on my brother's Edgar costume though, so that should help lighten the load.

@Final: Considering my first daughter will inevitably be named after Star Trek's Kathryn Janeway, and my hopefully 2nd named after Terra, I can't really debate it too much. ^.~

@Seifer: I'm not as stressed as you, but I'm having trouble getting these curls to set, so I'm very irritated. Just relax. I'm sure everything will get done. Do you have progress pics of Edgar??? I wanna see!!!

@ Terra~Esper: Mine seemed to set okay... I had to reset them a few times. I ended up just wrapping them around a marker, spraying, and then using the blow dryer. It seems that anything larger just made a slight curl.

As for Edgar, I guess I can take a few. I only took a few of the wig since I didn't think anyone would be interested in his boots, they are pretty boring. :P But yeah maybe later I can take a few. I would love to get some work done on the gauntlets so I can get some shots of those but uhg, must embroider. I told myself I would finish the gloves before the end of the month. :P

@Seifer - I think the big problem for me with Sakura con is the timing. It has always been right before final exams week and when I have to meet with groups for group projects / presentations for class. I'll try to go in 2012 because I will be done with school and living in Montana (probable). So I could probably drive there.

@Terra - I've actually thought of naming a daughter Terra if I had one. Zelda was always another thought as well. If I had a son, maybe Cecil since that is a regular name as well.

Next week, back to work on the Cecil costume again. It's now getting to the 2 month time before Fanime.

@Seifer: Nothing I do seems to get them to SET! It's driving me nuts. And I'm so worried about overheating the fiber...

@Final: I briefly debated Zelda, but it never really set right in my mind. Not to mention, my husband and I still aren't going to have kids for a while... but I can't help but think about it. ^.^;;; And I have no clue for boy names... maybe Kain...?

@ Final Evangelion: Sakura con is also tough to make it to because it's only a month before Fanime. Luckily though Sakura con isn't as expensive as Fanime... so it's not too hard to save up for. I hope you do make it next year, you would probably have a lot of fun. Let me know if you do make it, maybe we can start a FF gathering. :P

@ Terra~Esper: Eeep... I don't know what else to suggest... I wish you lots of luck!

@ Final and Terra: Those are really great names for kids! I always liked Kira (I blame the Dark Crystal!) for a girl and Logan for a boy.

So! Did any of you folks go pick up Duodecim last night? My twin and Score went dressed as Tifa and Squall (course we live in a dink area, so they were most certainly the only cosplayers). XD

Ended up only spending $1.98 for the game. >.> Though I probably would have been the only one at my local store showing up to get the game...lol Damn. Now I wish I had. Would have been some fun convos with the manager as CoD.

Aw man! That was last night!!!?!? If I'd known that, I woulda gone as Terra! (I WOULD HAVE FORCED THOSE CURLS IF I HAD TO!) -headdesk- Not that it would have mattered. I'm the only serious cosplayer in my town that I know of. Although my cousin is catching up well...

@Final: I would never do that to my kids. One crazy clown is enough, I don't need to train another. ^^;;;

@Seifer - That would be fun. I'll just have to hope my work schedule permits me going to that many cons. I'll probably have Emperor Gestahl finished by then as well - which if you still plan on going as Terra, we could have a little FF6 photoshoot.

Thanks for reminding me that the game came out today. I forgot about it but went to Gamestop after seeing this thread. I did dress up as Zidane for the FF13 launch, however.

@everyone - I have a question about makeup. I'm makeup retarded because I'm a guy. For Cecil, is there a way to make his face look a bit more pale / washed out?
