Oh jeez. Sorry for double (triple) posts you guys (I'll delete them once they appear.) I'm brand new on this site I didn't realize they had to go through a moderator before displaying, so I thought it didn't send and typed it out twice. ^^;;;

Well, anyways, I have pictures on my profile and such already crossplaying, do I pass?
Very passable. You still look pretty feminine though (or maybe your Yuki was really short? I'unno but your stature seems very masculine [minus boobs of course]), but I think it's 'cause Kaname's a bishounen, so he has to be pretty. XD

Though, a pretty boy can still be manly. Masculinizing make-up would help? :3

Mm... You have some potential. I'm assuming that you're not wearin' make-up 'cause I can't see your face. And the hip thing that Kelley talked about. I suggest workin' on your make-up and choosing appropriate poses (dun have to pose all the time like Kelley said)/clothes that don't emphasize your small hips. :3

Not entirely happy with it. Hair is wrong, but I just didn't have time to wash and dry so I just hairsprayed on tired hair.

I might try to cover my eyebrow a bit in next time. They just end up too bushy on their own.
Kelley, once again, you've got me believing that people who have gender shape-shifting powers REALLY DO exist (even moreso than unicorns). Love you in that picture. <3

Thanks. XD

My Yuuki is short... XD I'm 5'7" I have broad shoulders naturally and narrow hips. I can try with the make-up but I'm not terribly adept with that kind of thing. XD

Ooh, your height, shoulders, and hips are pretty good for this stuff. :3
And I totally understand the make-up thing. I end up makin' myself look more feminine in "masculinizing" make-up, when I look pretty boyish (more convincin') without it. X3

Yea I'm not wearing makeup. I don't really know much about it to actually try. I'll learn I suppose. Thanks for the advice though. =D As for the pic quality forgive me. I should somehow change that.

Alright, this is my first ever attempt at truly looking like a boy. I'm cosplaying Reno on August, and I wanted to get the hang of this now. Unfortunately I don't have my costume yet, and these are the most masculine clothes I own.. lol Anyway, any tips and suggestions would be appreciated! How did I do??

I think I did the best on the last picture. :3

Yay!! Thanks! I'm so super feminine usually, so I was worried I'd fail horribly ^^;

And, thanks again? lol I guess I could rub some dirt on my face, would that help?

You still look slightly feminine though ('cause you're a girl you're feminine, so it can't be avoided, lol. But with these crossplayin' pics, you can work on hiding it a bit more). Your make-up can be better. I'm not all too good with make-up in general and in crossplaying, so I can't really give any specific tips. But I believe if you focused on some certain areas during make-up application, your masculine side could be brought out fully. If ya look at the FtM make-up tips and tutorials here and on Youtube, I'm sure the boy/man in you will shine. XD

It seems my post went kinda unnoticed on the last page. ^^; Sorry to be such a bother but if anyone could give some input on how I pass/how to improve I'd be a happy little newb crossplayer.
You can see me in my avvie/profile-pic and here...

Sora cosplay:

Link cosplay:

(please go easy on me about the costumes, haha, they were my first cosplays!)

And I know you ask for some advice you should give some, so I'll be happy to offer up some of my humble opinion to all of you fabulous cosplayers once I get my bearings. (:

Think your links were broken in transition. When you look at your pictures on photobucket, there should be a place to click to copy your links for forum use.

...Kyronami, while I understand it is impolite to speculate over the gender of another, the nature of this thread implies that that is what you were aiming for.

In short, you've done a spectacular job. Well 'played*, friend.

* yes, I'm making a 'cosplay' pun. hence, apostrophe.
