I haven't done any crossplay yet, or have done any attempts. I am planning on going as Lelouch Lamperouge though (no matter if I can pull him off, or totally not!), but I'd like to know if I'd at least be able to get close to doing a FtM.

Body 01 (don't pay too much attention to the face here, as it's inaccurate. I had a soy allergy reaction the day before, which makes my face swell up, leaving me without any facial structure. It was getting better here, but it was still very puffy):

I've crossplayed before more out of love for a character than by actual appearance, but actual opinions would be really sweet. I haven't had trouble with binding/getting a straighter, less feminine figure, but I'm never sure about my face. I've got a picture here of me in a short wig, no make-up, no glasses. Thoughts?

I have a question but I didn't know where to put it. I am a MtF transgender in progress and was wondering how males in crossplay manage to travel in public without any issues? I mean I started doing cons because I feel safer there but getting to them can be a nightmare. How do they pull it off?

For cons, I usually stay in a hotel with a walking distance from where the con takes place. Chances are people who were in that hotel at the same time are con-goers anyway, so it's not that big of a deal. And if you live far away, maybe drive there with your friends?

Just keep yourself calm, and don't forget that cosplaying's about having a good time, not a "oh god is this passable I don't even know what am I doing weeeeeh" one (although I've been guilty of this myself >~>''). Really, you shouldn't care about what other people think of you at a con. Just be yourself.
