So anyways for me, i just did my latest version of Kuroyukihime at my last con. Howd i do? any suggestions? http://azuraschampion.deviantart.com...ines-410300656
Im the one on the left.
I donno, I think I look too 'young' to look good with a hint of beardedness. I've been told that I look about 15 when I cross, not sure I want to give myself a fake scragglebeard. I think it's mostly the body that makes it hard to pass. Like I said, I'm having issues with an hourglass and while I'd like to build up muscle in the waist area to make it less obvious, I have no idea how to go about doing that. Padding doesn't help much when you're wearing a costume with an open stomach area, and I'd like to have a straighter build anyway. Wondering if I should take this up with the fitness forum.

I think you look good. You could probably stand to bring out your cheeks a bit with makeup, give it a sort of feminine glow. Hell if I know how to do that. Bronzer or blush or whatever. Might want to ask the makeup gurus in their forum for suggestions, I only (barely) know how to wipe powder foundation on my face and not poke myself in the eye with eyeliner.

Ilafatyu, I think as Jack Frost, you pass very well..The other one..You still pass pretty well, but it's harder to tell anyway because you are so covered.

I don't pass in the slightest... advice? Just a heads up, and I know this sounds horribly, horribly lazy, but due to the fact that I have bad vision in one eye putting eye makeup on my left eye is very difficult for me so it's nearly impossible to get things even... so should I just give up or can I still fix this?

Oků let's give this a shot. This is me on Halloween and my second crossplay. I'm wearing chest and hip padding. As for the makeup I covered my eyebrows with paste & foundation than an overall layer of foundation. I tried using bronzer and finished with eyeshadow & lip gloss. Thanks

You don't look half bad once you get your costume on it will all work. There are alot of good ftm makeup tutorials that can show you how to alter your jawline and eyebrows

You should be able to pull off Akemi Homura without too much trouble. But makeup is important if you want to look your best, there are a lot of tutorials hear and on youtube good luck ^-^

Hi! First cross play attempts, only tried it out with regular clothing (sans wigs, as of yet). I want to do some in the future, possibly Durarara, or Kagerou Days, or The World Ends with You. Anything, really.

I'm thinking I look like a really effeminate dude. I have no idea, please help me out here guys.

Any roles that you can recommend?

Not really the best, but I'm extremely happy with myself for making this entire dress myself..
http://www.cosplay.com/photo/3452505/
I can't wear a corset with it though..And it's not the right material to make it a "corset style" top..But yea..Also because i took the boning out of my corset to make this....My old corset was ripping and the boning was coming out anyway..That's a cheap corset for ya..

I think that with a bit more makeup you could totally pass. I recommend using white eyeliner on your bottom waterline to make your eyes look bigger. Another tip I got for cosplaying as cute female characters is using fake eyelashes. I haven't tried it yet myself, but it seems like a good idea. ^^ Have fun crossplaying.

Okko, first off, I love your signature.

Secondly, I do think you work Jean off very nicely! Maybe, (if you're comfortable with this of course) some make-up tutorials with eyes and shading?
I personally see Jean's eyes as more squared off, but I mean, yeah..

I think you'll look great though!

I think you'd pass with maybe some fake eyelashes, and definitely trimming and cleaning up your brows. Makeup tutorials are literally all over Youtube. Michelle Phan is good and keeps it simple and girly. :3
