I'm not in cosplay, but I've made a few sad attempts at binding. x'D; Also, I'm not quite sure who I should cosplay as. A tip or two would be greatly appreciated! =D Otherwise, think I could pass?

i'm really not sure about crossplaying, and have never done so before, but i do plan on it for next year! (effeminate guys, though... i'm pretty sure i'm not manly enough for big muscly men types.)

Ok I'm almost a complete newbie to the whole crossplay scene, just did my first crossplay about 2 weeks ago. Was quite petrified at first as I had to drive to the convention while getting strange looks, I have cosplayed a fair bit so I'm used to the weird looks but they were alot more noticable this time. Luckily I was travelling with some friends one of whom was also crossplaying, so it wasn't that bad.
Anyway seeing as I am probably going to another con in the near future and I may decide to crossplay again I wanted to get some different opinions (other than just my friends who will just try and be kind)
The costume is Vanilla (Galaxy angel manga verison) oh and if anyone is able to suggest something strong to stick foam to the face? that would be appreciated, tried spirit gum and that didn't work to well

I'm considering crosplaying some of my favorite male characters at upcoming cons, but not sure how well I could pull it off. Two of them are the more elegant looking/pretty type, one is far from (well not too far) but he's much younger.

That's alright though, since I'm only concerned about my face. I have a slim enough body that I could easily manipulate it to look male.

sorry for not posting cosplay pics, since my last two crossplays were both pretty/femmy boys [see avatar for one] that were seriously pretty much girls in boy clothes [although, Momiji actually wore the girls uniform]

harlequinrush: Your first picture without makeup you look really bishie, but in every other picture your feminine features stand out--plump cheeks especially. You can pull off a bishi, but you'll need to go all out on female-to-male makeup--see LadyC's guide for details. You too, _Mugen. ^^

On to the topic of whether you pass or not, though: you do pretty darn well already. My only suggestions are to explore other binding techniques to see if you can find something a little better and to lightly brush some powdered bronzer under your cheekbones. Good luck! (:

x3 Thank yoouu. Makeup might just be my biggest problem though. I barely know how to do makeup for my female self, much less to make myself look masculine. xDD But thank you for the binding compliment~
