IMO, facially you do definitely, though your wrists/hands are a bit wiry for most girls. However, I don't think most people would notice that, and we're also scrutinizing these photos possibly more than the average person would. So I'd say yes.

I think i have a pretty genderless face >_<;; I want to be able to pass completely as a boy, though. Mostly so when i'm in crossplay, i won't crush anyone's dreams XD (My friend passed as a boy once, then told everyone she was a girl as soon as they'd hit on her. I want to be able to pass as a boy like she did, but instead, go with it. Half for my self satisfaction... ahaha...)

i personally think that your facial does pass for a guy, but your shoulders aren't broad like a male is IMO

Yeah, but i have a pretty small head. Wigs just look giant on me XD;;

IMO, it's difficult to tell from these pics since you're in such an emphatically female cosplay and most of the pics of your face are at odd/dramatic angles. I don't think your facial structure is so feminine that you couldn't pull off a male character with the right wig, makeup, attitude, energy, etc, but I also am not sure that your features are masculine enough that you'd be fooling everybody all the time (especially in a hetalia cosplay where like 999% of the people cosplaying are girls dressed as guys).

Shoulderpads will help some with the shoulders, which still seem a little narrow, but again, the pics you're showing are mostly pics of you cosplaying convincingly as a female character and likely our impressions could be different if you were showing us what you'd do TO pass, if that makes sense.

Yeah, i see what you mean. I wish i had any pix of me attempting to pass, but alas, those are lost in a deep puddle of 2+ years ago, and i look different now. And yeah, I was considering the whole "everyone is a crossplayer in Hetalia" thing too... XD;; I just want to have fun with it, but i reaaaally hope i could pass o__<

And i don't think i could do shoulder pads. This is a thick, leather jacket... its huge on me enough as it is XD;; I don't think i could fit pads under there. I might do that with my uniform, though, in case i take the jacket off.

When the wig arrives (sadly, tracking says late december), i'll be sure to repost and show you how i look

playmysitardemy: I don't think you'd pass for a MANLYMAN but a younger dude, probably!

animejazzi13: You'd have to bind and get a wig/do makeup but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility, depending on what character you're interested in doing. You do look younger, though, so again, probably not manly man characters.

I already know I pass well enough while wearing concealing clothes. However... Working on doing bare-armed type stuff for a fun experiment. Curious how much farther I have to go with my workouts in order to pass for at least a scrawny bish-type dude. (I know I don't have the bone structure to look like a real manly beefdude without shoulderpads under my clothes and other fun tricks.) I'm binding here, no makeup (and sorry about the blurriness on the first pic).

Belligerent you look great! You've actually got more muscle mass in your biceps and forearms than some of my guy friends. I'd say a little more weight training focused on upper body strength and you'll be golden.

I've got quite a few Hetalia cosplays I want to do, many of which are male. Sooo tonight I decided to try some crossplay makeup and throw on my America wig in progress. Needless to say, I was discouraged. Granted this was my first attempt.

Ignore the wig, it's severely unfinished, just threw it on so natural hair wouldn't distract from crossplay facial stuff.

Tips, please? I've watched/studied a lot of tutorials but am wondering if maybe I just need to darken shading some more and whatnot? I tried to follow this tutorial with my limited resources. I feel like I'm getting there, just want a bit more of a boy look.

(I contoured forehead, cheekbones, chin/jaw, upper lip, and especially my nose. Just did brown eyeliner on outer edges of eye and some foundation to cover my lips since they're naturally reeaallly pigmented. Also filled in eyebrows/thickened them.)
