my friend Josh looks FABULICIOUS in lolita. He's even a bit heavyset. He had a friend make a custom brocade for his dress, and he wears heels better than I ever could... T______T I'm so unfeminine for a female. *kicks stupid weak ankles*

So yes, if you have the body to pull it off, then go for it!!! I've seen some really not feminine guys in lolita with super nice dresses too, so I give them some kudos too for having beautiful outfits.

I am definitely not the "lolita style" in body shape. 6'4" 400 pounds. Saw it loved it bought it. but I guess I would not fit in with "pure" lolita. I don't do makeup (why? makeup on guys just don't look right though that could just be societal training it always seems "forced") and I don't really feel the need to smear oils all over my face :-)

I don't want to "look" like a women. I just love the style of clothing.

My outfit is bright blue with orange trim and lace black stockings and orange 3" boots.

He has a very... feminine bone structure... and looks better then most girls when he would dress up. :3 With makeup and everything, he would often get men hitting on him (and well still does).

So yeah, doing that is not going to prevent you from getting a girlfriend.

After reading through this forum...I'm a little nervous to wear the lolita skirt I just purchased. However...I did pick up some good tips about makeup and having something for the head...so...that part was helpful. Other than that...I just hope people can respect that I'm male even if I'm wearing something "meant for girls"

Drag Queens exist and many of them look better than actual women. Why would this not work with Lolita?
