Lightbulb Axel as a girl - hairstyle?

I've decided to cosplay Axel as a girl. (How original. /sarcasm) It's easier for me, and from what I've seen, not done so much with him. Could be lying, though.

Anyway, his hair, although awesome, doesn't look like it would transfer over well to a female face. The spikes in the back are fine, but I would think that girls would have some sort of bangs, whether they lay on the forehead or frame the sides of the face.

I'm gonna ask my friend at school to help me come up with a sketch, but it'll be a bit before I see him, and just wanted to see if anyone on here had any ideas/opinions about this.

I'd just use the same hairstyle. It's long enough, and instantly recognizable.

seconding that.

but if you're dead set on bangs, maybe look at the much loved (sarcasm) scenesters and their bangs. or you know how some people clip their bangs directly back and on top of their heads? yeah like that. with some strands hanging down on the sides.

That's pretty funny conclusion, given that most Axel cosplayers are...female, and I don't find that their faces look strange with the hair. *shrug*

Keep the same hair style, if you really think you need to do a fem. version.

I'd say keep Axel's original hair style. For one, it is godly, plus I know several girls who spike out their hair and have no bangs. They look dead sexy, too!
