'Last minute' Elsa suggestions?

With Anime North nearing in 2 weeks or so, I decided to crack down on my Elsa outfit. I'm putting together the ice dress (reference in link below), and today I was making the bodice. I ended up cutting the fabric I bought wrong. I know that I can just make adjustments to it, but it would've ended up being too small. Then I headed to the internet on my phone to look at alternatives on how to make her bodice, and found this tutorial: http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/i/20...ox-d7hq3yq.jpg but I don't think my dress would be done in time. I asked my mom for help, since she knows more than I do, she told me that my grandma could help as well. I'm going to follow with my the tutorial I posted, but I'll still see what my grandma/mom tells so I keep that for future reference.
What I had in mind is hipster!Elsa to wear to Anime North or something, and make sure to have the actual dress done for the next con I go to. Anyone else have any other suggestions?

Ah, crap. My bad guys, I posted in the wrong thread! I meant to post this in the Cosplay Suggestions thread.

Yeah, if you do it that way, you'd have to work non-stop the whole time. Then you'll have to make everything else, too. I suggest not using that method, at least not for this con since it's so soon.

If you think you can make the skirt and train, just make a temporary top.
For mine, I just used Shiny blue fabric. http://www.cosplay.com/photo/3552208/
It was just for a school event, so I didn't really go all out. I also bought the skirt.
