As for Surfer, I'm not sure yet. I heard things but haven't seen anything confirmed. I love how they keep revealing characters throughout the months. Plus they keep releasing these mini-trailers which are pretty cool to watch. MvC3 is bound for greatness!

Do you think this something I should try to get commissioned, or are there Spidey suits that are good to order from some store and just rip it up from there?

the cheapest good spidey suit ive seen is around $300-$400, if your just gonna tear it up, buy a cheapy suit, and i can give you a link for really good eye frames.

came across all kinds of suits when doing zombie spidey, it is way cheaper just to buy a crappy suit and modify it than to commission one. Good suits will cost $300-$2000 which is fuckin ridiculous. i could make 5 other costumes, or commission my Planet Hulk for half that.

it would probably be easiest to buy a black spandex suit, and some white strech fabric and sew it up yourself. im doing steel spider, and the suits are similar. its much cheaper than buying one.

And I would love to go to W.Con, but I don't have enough haha maybe next year? My only trip to the West Coast is usually saved up for SDCC. I did make an exception to AnimeExpo though but I'll try to change it up for 2011.

they will keep revealing more and more as the release gets closer - im hoping for a shitload of characters, like in MVC2, (i dont remember the exact amount) but it seemed like there at least 40 playable characters.

_BTW, if Surfers not in it, i can get my brother a cheap spidey suit for this.

curse living on the East Coast (and having no chance in hell of going anytime soon)
if I could go i'd definitely be Dormammu for it (despite the fact that I would probably be shorter than everyone else xD)

he's gonna be my main cosplay for the game

and other than that i'm kinda new to Marvel cosplaying but plan to do Anti-Venom too in the future

but I live in Virginia and there's no way my parents would want to travel to New York or anywhere else just for a convention =_____=""
so I stick to ones close by.

I know about a comic convention in Richmond, VA, but that may still be too far to travel, especially during school time and my family having a lack of interest in almost everything I like Dx
