Exclamation looking for some help

hi i am making a mask for halloween and i am going to be using a mask like this one http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-...579900229.html to get the initial face shape but the mask is very flimsy and i was wondering what would be the best way to strengthen up the mask so i can work on it etc???: ,would paper mache it work

Paper mache should be fine. Sand the whole mask first though so the mache will stick to it better, then use a good 3 coats of paper mache (letting each layer dry first) then sand that smooth, then use (if different from mache paste, but this is what I use rather then the flower method) white glue with a bit of water, and mix it up and coat it over the mache in about 3 layers. This will help it be real smooth. Then you an paint it
