Sword of Aeons blueprints
Hello everyone.
Today i made blueprint for the Sword of Aeons (only top) in Illustrator(using Rhino - convert from 3d model). But i need some help. For making blueprint for hilt and especially - sword rear. http://i.imgur.com/ES2wF.png - top(cleaned from some polygon lines) http://i.imgur.com/Uc3LX.jpg - sword I have a .ai file for rear projection, but there are too many polygon lines and it's hard to clean. Pepakura doesn't help. If you need, i can give model file(in any format) and half-complete .ai file. |

Bump again.
So, i made some blueprints. Now I have a question. What material to use. I cant find planks with thickness 6-10mm, only 15-20 +. But I have a few pieces of particleboard, thickness of ~ 15mm. How this material acts when cutting with a jigsaw, sander treatment and other? |

Hey, I dont know what kind of material name it is on your place, but here we got layers of balsa wood, its pretty easy to cut and really handy and lightweight... just a little recommendation

This. My main problem, that i live in Russia, on Sakhalin Island. We've got a lack of many materials(like EVA foam, Styrene plastic and other stuff), which in Europe / America a dime a dozen in stores on the corner. That is why I have to use what was at hand. |
