I was thinking of doing a cosplay of Kyo from the Filth PV... I was wondering if anyone had some good picture of him.... I've already downloaded the video, but it's really dark, and I'm having issues with it >.<;;

I don't suppose you're magically going to Otakon are you? ^^; lol We were sooo close to getting a full FILTH group but we're missing a Kyo now. Ah well. Can't really give you any help with that one but I would love to see the completed (or the in-progress even) costume of that if you do it. ^^

I would love to go to Otakon.... but I live in BC Canada.... and I don't have much money right now so unfourtunently I can't go

and I haven't even started it yet.... just planning it so there's no way I could get it finished for Otakon.... I will be wearing it a Sakura con in April, if everything works out right with it.

Sylver - Yeah, I figured you weren't, it coming up in a few days and all, but ya know, wishful thinking? ^^;;

ryuichi fangirl - Wai! That's so cool! I would bring Die to Katsucon except that I don't think I could possibly find time to wear it during the con, lol. I've already got 4 costumes planned to wear at that one. ^^;;

YAY! I now have a whole group to do the band! but they need some help.... like I can't find any pictures of Kaoru or Shinya.... and does anyone know what it says on Die overalls???

I really wanna try that costume as well! Man, its been on my plans for a while, but I know its going to be the most expensive costume for me, for sure! (Cuz I don't have anything in my wardrobe that looks anything like this glittery nightmare! MWAHAHAHA!)

Sylver - I just did Die's costume. And I still don't know exactly what it says ^^;; I just zoomed in on it and printed it out and then carefully drew it out as close as I could get. I should have pictures up soon. So, just try doing something like that. As long as it looks close to the thing, it should work.

Darn right! No can be 100% to the origional...well unless you buy the prototype costume, then that'll cost you a good 300-500 bucks. =D

oo.... I've been kinda putting off working on the costume and started on other ones, but I just wanted to check before I went out and bought the fabric. Kyo's cloths have sequences (sp? I mean those little round shiny thingies...) all over it...right? or am I just going crazy and it's pvc?
And...what ever it is, does anyone know where I could buy the fabric really cheap?

....also, how would I go about putting the dreads on the mask? just hotglueing them on would work...right? and I'm thinking of using wool for the dreads, that works, ne?

oh....I think I have some info you may be interested in ^^;;...I was looking at pics and stuff..figuring out how I was going to do my own costume and I have a clip of the making of the PV..I don't know if you've seen it or not...but..it shows the back of the costume....and you get a few decent shots of the arm patch as well...(anough that you can pretty much figure the rest out on your own)...if you want it let me know k? ^_^ ( I know I was happy when *I* found it that's for sure...and well..this IS a tough one to make...so..I figured you would be interested at least..lol...)

as for the rest of that...it sounds perfectly fine to me.. I say go for it..lol..

I've already gotten my fabric,materials for my megaphone-thing..and..other rather random parts of the costume as well..:P...in fact...I'm about ready to start sewing the pants...I'll let you know if I hit any snags with it so you can avoid making the same mistakes as well.^^;

OH..and I *think* there's a few short parts..where if you can freeze the pic right...you can read (pretty much) what's on Dies overalls...as well...I believe there is a ...rather fast...shot of the sides/back of Kaoru's costume as well ^^
