@Myribee: I could probably make a pair, but when do you need them by? I'd just need about a yard of the same fabric you're making the gloves out of and a shoe size to work with.

@Sailor Moon: That's so weird, because even the Magnum Long is showing only $30. I'd contact them about it and see what's going wrong.

Well today I pick up my package from singapore where matchwigs.com is from. Its for a wig commission but I wanted to see if it was the right wig and all and my god, is it heavy. Its 100 cm and a lovely rich red color. I also liked that its heat resistance and all.

So far it was great with free shipping but I added 2$ to get the registered mail so in total I spend 36$ on it. Fair price for a long wig like that.

@Bakura: Ohmy.. that wig is pretty!

My dad is.. well.. uhh.. stuck in the hospital for the weekend and he's pissed. He really wanted to go home with me today. But the doctors said no, he's staying til about Monday or Tuesday. Lame.

To make it worse, I stopped at the fabric store and my phone messed up and wouldn't connect to the internet so I couldn't look up references. We pay money so I can access the internet without a wi-fi signal and it never works like it's supposed to. So no new fabric today. I'll take tomorrow night's tips and buy some fresh ink and print out my references the old fashioned way.

Eh, I'm not worrying about it, I'm still pissed with them XD Besides, the color of my blonde wig I bought from them was SO OFF, that I'm scared to buy another blonde wig from them, lol.

Would anyone in Houston area or who is traveling to houston on Feb 9th be interested in putting on a skit show at a chinese new year festival?

I am able to accept more than one group. Its on a real stage. the dimensions of the stage is 20x20 ft. Each group needs to come up with a skit that needs to be 15-30 minutes long.

What I mean by skit is the skits you normally would do at a cosplay contest. But the main skit performance cannot be just singing or dancing. There has to be a mini-story to the skit like it can be making friends or brushing ur teeth more or being healthy or any skits you have done in the past.. And yes you can be in cosplay for the skit.

But keep in mind that some of the people in the audience probably have no idea who you might be. The place that I am working with is called Kollaboration and we have the stage from 12pm to 4pm. So ideally I want to be able to get 3 groups to perform every hour.

Late on the wig topic but paying $30-50 for a short wig is kinda much but i guess cause of the quality of it. A fashion outlet near me sells short wigs $10-25 regularly and have some nice colors plus long lace fronts for $20. The arda I got was given as a gift and I love it but i'd only buy from them if they the only one with a wig i need.

I think im going to start my Alois's Vest this weekend or at least read the pattern for the vest. Its looking like I wont be able to have his coat as it costs alot to get commissioned.

I'm gonna run myself ragged until A-kon. I'm taking my two younger twins brothers and they have noooo idea how to sew or anything so I have to make everything myself :P Josiah wants to do Hidan which is no problem, but Jordan wants Rinnosuke from Tohou and uuuuuuuuuugh the paaatterniiiiiiing -dies-

It sure is pretty, I want to keep it but its not mind since its for a wig commission. Im going to order from them later since I don't need any wigs except one. But I got that cover because im buying it from a coscom seller.

Man, what a tough night at work.. but I got a mini promotion, to the 2nd to last tier! I can unofficially train people and work the cocktail side of the restaurant now. Woo!

Also made great tips so I can go try and buy my fabric.. again, this time with printed out references.
