Hi Hi! I'm not from TX, but I will be attending RealmsCon 2012. I was really hoping that I might find some people who are interested in cosplaying from Slayers or One Piece? It would be great to get a group going!

Never heard of RealmsCon but you said One Piece and I've always wanted to cosplay Crocodile/Mr 0

RealmsCon is a tiny con in Corpus Christi. Ironically, the two OP characters I'm debating on doing are Miss All Sunday and Alvida!! It would be all sorts of amazing if you could make it and cosplay Crocodile!!

I was trying to use fabric paint markers on my slightly stretchy fingerless gloves that I got from hot topic a long time ago. But as soon as they finish drying, where i painted on the gloves, it made it hard. I can still put my fingers into it but it didnt give me that look I wanted for Mami tomoe's gloves.

So I was thinking about just buying some cheap leather gloves, cutting them to make it into fingerless and paint the gold trim on there. What do you think about that?

Also I have never wore a wig before. So I was wondering if I need to wash it before wearing. It prestyled. Any other advice u can give me would be great. It's a blonde wig.

I'll be putting on the fashion show again. I'll probably also host a few panels; hopefully this time I'll get to choose my panel topics!!

Last year I was considered an industry guest, so it was all about fashion, but this year I really want to add some cosplay! ^___^

Evening, Thread!

I just got a new place in San Antonio and evidently everyone I know that cosplays lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and I have had a lot of trouble meeting fellow cosplayers in the San Antonio/Austin area. Now, I have plenty of friends here in SA (Always open to making more though!) but I don't know ANY cosplayers here, haha.

I figured posting in this thread may be of help. In terms of Texas cons I am attending Akon, San Japan and AnimeFest for sure, though I am looking to see if I can make it to Dallas Comic-Con as well. I go to AnimeFest yearly, but the other conventions I go to yearly are outside of the state (SDCC and Wondercon).
