So I want to make gloves based on Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3's character Aegis/Aigis.

I want to make the metal part of the glove separate from the glove- have it attachable.

Thing is, I want it to either be made of metal, plastic, or even pvc pipe. (So, I can have a satisfactory tapping sound when I'm drumming my fingers on the table)

Is it possible, and if so, any tips? Is there even pvc pipes that are shaped like that?

I have no experience with plastic or metal editing, but what about using plain silver/grey fingerhoods for his? You can always paint their top/bottom black or maybe even remove it (though I'm not sure that's possible). I suspect they would fall off quickly, so I suggest only putting them on for photos.
