Alright, I am planning to do Mana for BAAF this year.

I have *ABSOLUTELY NO* experience fashioning wigs! Any tips on the kind of wig to buy that would be fairly cheap and easy to style.. or tips on the actual styling? They would be greatly appreciated!

heyaz!! I do that with my real hair all the time. You need a shoulder length cleopatra wig and you need to get matching loose extensions at www.Drlocks.net. Then put pigtails into it via the loose method explained here. http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread...395#post243395 After that is done section the two face framed lengths and then put the hair into pigtails. Do a french twist on each side and pin into place hair pins work better than bobbie pins btw...then get hairspray and fan out the hair and spray it into position. use good cheap hairspray it works well enough to hold it in place. blowdry it on a light setting and hold the fanned hair in place to get it to stay quicker...just remember to not keep it on the hair long cuz plastic melts. have fun and i hope this works out for you!

Thanks a lot! I was planning on just buying a long wig and styling it.. but it sounds like your way would be better and cheaper..
