Need Help With Kamina

I am in need of help with one part of Kamina's cosplay. I have no idea of what to use to make the Gurren glasses. I have been told to use mylar(sp?), but I have no idea what it is or where I can attain some. Any suggestions? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Mylar, to my knowledge, is the material that the large shiny birthday-type balloons are made of (latex are the regular blow-up variety).

A picture of the glasses would be helpful as a reference. I am willing to give suggestions, but I'm unfamiliar with the anime.

AznTranquility: Thanks, I'll check Home Depot out.

Celyddon: Here's a link to the character wearing the glasses. http://fc00.deviantart.com/fs21/f/20...kaminaklub.jpg
