San Jose, CA
parking fee: 6$, this may not be true for the weekend.
permit area fee: $3 per person to be given to OscarC

This is a picnic type event aka food such as chips, fruit, veggie mixes, salads, cookies, crackers, sandwiches, drinks, etc. are very welcome. Location is near Fanime so there are plenty of places to eat before and after as well.
For food:
Basically we are going by name aka first letter of last name or the first letter of your forum name(whatever floats your boat, this is mostly just a suggestion). We will do as suggested by Bekalou with the food as well:*A" through "I" you can bring snack items (chips/dip, party mix, veggie trays, cheese/crackers, etc.) If you're "J" through "Q" you can bring desserts (cookies, brownies, cake, sweet things), and if you're "R" through "Z" you can bring drinks (soda, water, juice, just nothing alcoholic).*

Yeah a lot of people will be crunching for AX and some will go to CC so I think after is definitely best since we'll be heading into a slow con season =3

August would be better for me since I have AX, Otakon, and SDCC in July.
The weekend after AX, July 10-12 weekend, I think people would still be recovering (if they went to AX, that is..) I know I will be in recovery-mode. haha
Since not many CA and Bay Area cosplayers will be going to Otakon on the July 17-19 weekend, that would be your best time to have it.

Yeah, I'm exhausted from Fanime still. haha. But a gathering sometime before AX still sounds good to me.
July 25 - August 15 is no good for me because my friend and I will be in Japan.

That would be a good weekend to have it since I can't afford Otakon this year. I'm all up for it and that would be a good way to catch up with everyone after Fanime(unless I see them at AX) lol

I agree; July 17-19 would be a fine weekend for it!  The first week of August is absolutely no good for me either, and the rest of July is packed with other conventions, like others have mentioned. And the longer we make it wait, the hotter it will get, not to mention that school will be approaching for many people...
