Naruto Ramen Bowl!

Well, I'm serious about this costume. I have one year to build it. Anyone have suggestions on the size and construction material? BTW, I plan to be inside the bowl. How much of my legs will stick out, I have not the slightest clue yet. I also figure I need internal straps or handles to hold the bowl if I don't want my hands sticking out. There is a minor problem if it covers my head... that is would be seeing outside of the bowl. So... with this mind... if anyone has suggestions, please post them here.

O.O Well, this one should be interesting!

One suggestion -- Use a wire frame to keep the bowl round? And maybe have a lining of 2 inch foam inside to give it that solid look... I have seen a costume before, but I think the bowl was made (cut off about the thighs with leg holes/elastic) with a wire hoop to keep that round idea, and then held up with suspenders... Maybe if you use the same idea, you could paint the straps to match the rest of you and they wouldn't be as noticable? I might not make any sense.... But post pictures when you finish.

Maybe you could use a hula hoop for the outer circumfrance? (I can't spell today) Could your head be part of it? Like a tofu square or something?

Like I said, I haven't quite decided, but I think a cup ramen would be easier to fit through doors. Although, I'm thinking that wire frame will do, and I'll have an eye openning.
