okay, I pretty much have everything, but I have a few problems:
1: what do you think would be the best wig to use? styling isn't a problem for me, i'm pretty good at it.

2: how on earth am I going to make her keyblade? it's not top priority, but I'm one of those people that like to have good props!

3: i've decided to use black combat boots for her shoes, as no one really seems to know what they look like. how does that sound?
4: the blue things that hang off her hips are posing a bit of a problem for me. I found something usable, but is it possible to bleach polyester??? I soaked the material in Clorox and nothing happened. it just came out smelling like chlorine... is there a way to bleach it and make it lighter that I'm missing?

Here is the main topic for Aqua discussion:
http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=157574

Sometimes you need to do a bit of searching (it was just a ways down the page) before posting a new topic, just a tip for the future.

I think you answered your own question about bleaching. If it doesn't respond to straight bleach, there's nothing you can do. Synthetic fabrics often don't bleach or dye as well as natural fibers.

I think as long as your "combat boots" don't look too jarring with the costume, you should be fine. I just used short ankle-boots and thigh-high stockings.

As for the wig, I used a wig from the ebay seller wigfashion.

The point of the thread is that you can keep asking questions about the same costume, and other people who are also making or have already made it can give you input and advice. It helps keep information all in one spot rather than spread out over 200 individual threads.

For example, there have already been questions about wigs and shoes, so there already you would've found some information that you were looking for.

Well, for the keyblade, I can help there.
Wood or foamcore base.
Build up sides with cardboard and hot glue.
Spackle or bondo all over.
Sand like crazy. (repeat bondo/spackle if needed)
Put base coat of white glue+white paint, and you get here:
