Question Sage Mode Naruto: Contact Lenses

I'm planning on doing Sage Naruto to the London Expo in October, but I'm not sure about the contact lenses. I found one pair on 9MMSFX - But I'm not paying $350 for a pair of contacts, it's just not happening. :P I was thinking I could get some cat eye contacts, with the vertical stripe, and just rotate it 90 degrees. But I have read in several places that this won't work - and in several other places that it does. Can anyone shed any light on this? ^^

You could try rotating them/putting them in sideways, but if they're not designed to stay specifically oriented, they will spin. If you want to use normal lenses and just rotate them yourself, you'll have to check and readjust them fairly often.

If you want a lens that will stay in a specific orientation, you'll have to get a lens with some sort of toric design (generally for people with astigmatism like me) to keep them from rotating.

If you'd read my first post you'd realise that they are the obscenely expensive ones that I am not paying for. ¬.¬ :P

I know that if the lenses are prism balanced they are not going to spin around in your eye, but I dont know if they are going to stay in a different position that you put them in if they are, or if they'll turn back. Your best bet is to find some that you like, and either ask the seller about it or ask your eye doctor.
