I know, seriously. I play all sorts of different games, I don't care if it's "casual" or "hardcore" (whetever that even means). For instance, I have Fallout: New Vegas on preorder. At the same Gamestop, I have Super Scribblenauts on preorder. They're very different games, but I'm really excited about both. Also, one thing I see a lot online is that someone isn't a "true gamer" because they play games like Scribblenauts or Picross 3D. Personally, I think a "true gamer" knows how to enjoy a game no matter what it is.

I play games for fun, the second a game becomes competitive, I lose all interest in it, hence why I hate fighters and RTS's. Tier list can suck my white ass, I'll use who I like.

Wow, I never looked at games like that. And I always assumed that playing certain games for so long made you a true "gamer." Sometimes I forget that simply playing and enjoying games makes you a gamer.

Anyways, I'm currently playing Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (my first Metal Gear game). My God, that game is so hard! It took me almost an hour to get past the first room! I love it though! I stink at stealth and control, but getting past a room feels so rewarding! Also, Snake's interactions with the other characters and the story with nuclear controversy are all enough to keep me deep in the game. I barely beat the tank (I've been playing for about 6 hours).

Try playing the original. It's alot more difficult. In it you aren't treated to dodge rolls, M9 Tranquilizer Gun, hanging from railings, shooting surveillance cameras, getting headshots with any weapon, etc.

So if I said that I love Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love, then no one would criticize right?

I don't care how weak Servbot is in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. He's just plain fun, and he's from my favorite classic video game series of all time.

And speaking of Marvel vs. Capcom, now that Tron Bonne's in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, I hope Servbot (or some other MegaMan Legends character) makes it in as well.

Since when did PS1 games become "classic"?

Are we really all that old?

Do we count X-men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Street Fighter as part of this series?

I'm pretty sure he was referring to Mega Man Legends.

Birth by Sleep, Red Dead Redemption, Mario Galaxy 2 (finishing up) and trying to get into Other M. I don't get the hate for the game. Maybe I haven't played too far into it but the combat seems fun. The storyline is heavy handed and lame but the gameplay definitely feels like Team Ninja, which is good for me.

I think what the term "classic" means should just be personal opinion. I played the MegaMan Legends series during middle school, but I already think it's a classic series. It was one of my favorite game series' that made me love video games while growing up after all. I wouldn't call PS2 games "classic" just yet though.

This morning (um, yesterday morning in America) my boyfriend and I played one last mission of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 before I flew off to Japan. While I'm here, I'm trying to do some portable gaming, but I haven't been that inspired. I played some Chrono Trigger DS but I'm stuck, so instead I just messed around with Crosswords DS and then Burnout Legends on PSP. I won a race at least.
