Seriously though, It's baby's first metroidvania. If you wanna get your significant other into video games and they like wierd 40's/50's space propaganda, this is it. The only thing that's tough is the multiplayer mode, but it's 4player online co-op multiplayer (or same screen) and it's fun.

But it's SUPER easy. If you thought Shadow Complex was easy, then this probably isn't even worth your time.

Hahahah, I'm a masochist. Though if it's a really edge-of-your-seat story, I'll go through on easy mode the first time. Believe it or not, I did that the first time I played Silent Hill 2. The easiest game in the series. However, Catherine's easy mode is actually challenging, and every stage you clear after the 4th night tends to make you feel like a stupendous badass. Kind of like every stage after #20 or 30 in Ivy the Kiwi. Easy mode or not, this game's satisfying, and HOLY FUCK, THE STORY. Was up til 7am because the 8th night's hour-long cutscene was gripping as all hell. I saw one of the plot twists coming, but it didn't happen the way I thought it would.

as soon as catherine "disappeared," I knew the Boss had something to do with it since he acknowledged her. Then they pointed it out. Also knew as soon as catherine appeared that she had to be a succubus. Honestly I wished she was real so that an actual love choice was there in the first place.

Last video game I played was Guitar Hero 5. Yes, at the Game Zone I run at my library. My favorite song to play in it is "The Spirit of Radio" by Rush. And yes, when I play the bass part, I do the clapping and duck quack Geddy does in concert.

I'm playing a cool driving simulator called Yaris. Yesterday I just got to the part where I bought a Yaris. This game is amazing, way better than the last driving game I played which was called "Plymouth Voyager" and was about 12 years old. I gave up on that game after getting to the part where the Voyager had to be duct taped together. Yaris is a way funner game!

And also, of course, Catherine.

Beat Catherine today, got the normal Katherine ending. REALLY pleased with the game, and as for the plot twists, I think there was like only 1 that actually got me, and then it was a LOL dream. Still a fantastic game, one that I'm gonna play a few times again before Deus EX:HR drops.

Ran through the first two levels of Child of Eden a couple of times. <3<3<3 But now my arm is sore.

Played the Cathrine demo. I found the long-ass cut scene tiresome but the puzzle levels? I LOL'D! There are many many people (not boyfriends necessarily) whom I would LOVE to chase up a staircase stabbing at them with a giant fork while screaming "TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!" So definitely buying this after I get back from playing the live action version of Fallout: Old Vegas.

Head's up: The cutscences/social interactions/non-puzzle parts of the game are at least half of the game, as that's what affects your relationships with the Catherines. But overall, the game is pretty great, it's nice to see an "M"-rated J-game that isn't all violence and dick jokes. (Suda). That being said, I'm beyond excited for Lollypop Chainsaw next year, given James Gunn AND Suda 51's involvement.

As for my, yesterday was sit around and play PC games. Cleared levels 4-6 in Portal 2 (I want to grow up and be Cave Johnson), continued to struggle againist the final boss in Jamestown, and did some L4D/L4D2 bro-op. Good day. I'm hoping to finish up P2 soonish, so I can get more time in on Deus EX or STALKER before Deus EX:HR drops on the 23rd.

I enjoyed sending and receiving text messages. I was highly amused how every time you go to answer a message to Catherine you hear this heavy sigh. XD It was only the sitting and watching and not doing anything that seemed to drag. If the story is as good as people have been saying, I suspect that the cut scenes will become more interesting for me.

I played a couple levels of plants vs zombies on the version that had the most potential but ended up being the least popular iteration: the ds.
