Brosona 2: Innocent Sin Portable. Loving it so far, which is kind of a relief since I didn't get far in Persona 1 Portable before giving up. And I'm glad some of the characters actually give you hints on what to do next, unlike other older J-RPGs.

The Marcus one made sense to a degree, but the Marcus trashball one was odd, and literally a "Push up to win" scenario.

I do like the fact that they are fleshing out some of the characters a little bit more. Well, at least Dom and Cole.

Beat Gears of War 3 yesterday.

It's a much more fitting conclusion to the trilogy than Resistance 3 was (though I still thoroughly enjoyed R3, mind you). It's just that where R3 ignored pretty much everything that came before it, and not only didn't answer any of the lingering questions, but created even more dangling plot threads, Gears actually tackles most of it head on.

That is great to hear! My group is on Act 3, which we hope to finish tonight. I'm losing sleep to this game, but I'm having so much fun with my co-op buddies that I don't care. Our session is scheduled pretty late tonight, so I'm hoping I'll finally have some time to play New Vegas beforehand.

They leave a few things open, presumably for future games, but most of the questions that arose in previous games are answered.

Also, I'm really impressed with a lot of the more subtle animations Epic added to the game. I wonder if they've been taking a few cues from Naughty Dog? Characters now duck and cover their heads when they're being shot at, or raise their hand to shield their eyes when close to a fire.

One that particularly surprised me was in the very beginning when you're walking through the halls of the ship. If you walk through the center of a doorway, you'll just continue walking like normal, but if you're closer to one of the sides of the doorframe, Marcus will actually reach up and grab it and lift his legs higher over the corner where the frame is higher off the ground.

I just love little touches like that in games, and I was really surprised to see it in something like Gears. I also like that you can actually interact with a lot of objects in the environment (I never get tired of sending Cole down the children's slide). Or finding a Cougars baseball cap and getting to choose whether Cole wears it forwards or backwards.

Oh, and most importantly? YOU CAN NOW RUN WHILE MARCUS HAS HIS FINGERS SHOVED IN HIS EAR.

Just got the good and true "Catherine" endings in Catherine last night. Now, on to Bad Company 2... then maybe some Demon's Souls tonight.

I am very disappointed at how much resources Magicka takes to run, way way too much.

Otherwise, Dead Island and Lord of the Rings Online.

Right now I'm in the Iifa Tree in Final Fantasy IX and in the Air Raid Shelter in Persona 2: IS.

Looking for that darn raid shelter exit is driving me nutty, though! Does anyone know where it is?

Man fuck Amazon. Brosana 2 was pre-ordered for me over a month ago, and I'll be lucky if I get it 1st week of October. People rag on the 'Stop, but at least I get my games on the actual release day when I pre-order.

I got my copy of Persona 2 yesterday so I was playing that until my PSP's battery got low. Also, I've been playing Bayonetta lately.

Only complaint, Hard Mode is not Hard enough

And this is why I back my 360 saves up at least once a week, for the games I actively play. (or more often than that if I accomplish something that was a pain in the ass and I absolutely don't want to lose my record of it)
