Yes. It takes about twice as long. We're talking a kingdom hearts/twilight town level of scale for the intro here. I think it was about 2 or 3 hours before the game started proper.

It was fun going to get it because I got my picture taken with like 20 people in line at Gamestop, and I even brought my ocarina to take requests (everyone requested the serenade of water or Epona's theme). Yeah, I was cosplaying Link's Ocarina of Time outfit, but what the hey itwasablast. ;u;

Mesoian's right, this game has a slow start. But it's pretty, and I'm sure it'll get less fetch-questy when it picks up.

Funny thing was, whenever guys and gals requested me to play songs on my Ocarina, I played FF7 themes and Rocky Balboa's Theme. I'd pretty much play anything that wasn't from a Zelda, because that's WHAT THEY WANT AND EXPECT. So I surprise them. Then it broke as if to punish me for playing non-nintendo music on it.

I don't know if I want to save yorda, take down colossi, or climb tonight. CHOICES!!!! I have been playing Star Wars Battlefront recently here and there with a friend, because we rediscovered advantages of playing the first one over the second.

Finished all I wanted to do in AC: Brotherhood (Romulus shrines, Leonardo's weapons) so that one's done. Went back to Fallout: New Vegas to finally work on the Lonesome Road DLC and forgot how much I love that game. DEATHCLAWS ARE TERRIFYING UGH.

Also Skylanders because we have like 15 toys to play with in the game.

Turns out that my husband pre-ordered Skyrim and then 1. didn't pick it up, 2. didn't tell me so that I could pick it up. o_O? Not that it really matters because we may never play another game besides Dark Souls. I keep starting new characters because I want to do different builds or try out something new or I screwed up some NPC's pathway. Curse you auto-save!

I'm sure that I'll get around to both Skyrim and Skyward Sword some day. But today is not that day.

I've beaten UMVC3 w/ all the new characters and Galatacus, so now I'm just running through Arcade mode in a vain attempt to unlock characters. After Turkey Day weekend, I'll probably go back to RE4 and DeEX:HR.

I'm have $10 is PSN monies and am hankering for some portable goodness.

I WAS playing Arkham city, its an amazing game, great graphics and wonderful story line. Then Uncharted 3 came out a couple weeks after, also an amazing game. I love the Uncharted series XD Then MW3 and Skyrim both came out the week after so i HAD to scrap up all my free time to finish Uncharted3 by then. I work and go to school, both full time, otherwise it wouldve been beaten by the next day, lol. So after that i came to the decision of only purchasing Skyrim...best.choice.ever. I won't stop playing for a while, thats for sure

I did the same thing, but impulsively preordered the mad expensive bullshit collectors one, then didnt pick it up. I ended up buying a regular copy from some other bullshit chain.

But after an unhealthy length of time on Skyrim, I've concluded that Morrowind is still my favourite.

Saints Row the Third has been a great break lately, though.

Picked up Skyrim, Skyward Sword and The Last Specter yesterday. Since I'm not going to be playing any of them anytime soon, I'll give the last two to the kids for Christmas and play them when they're done. I'M A BAD MOM!!!!! I'd give Skyrim to my husband for Christmas but since he's the one who pre-ordered it, that won't work.

At the risk of sounding like kiss-ass, I dont think anyone can claim you're a bad mom, The Hag, especially when giving THE VIDEYA as gifts.

Feeling burnt out on UMVC3 last night, I opted to throw on that whatever Genesis collection SEGA put out for the PS3 and decided to play some stuff stuff. Dynamite Headdy, Alien Storm, Sonic 3 & Ristar we all played, with me sucking at all of them at various levels. But man, it was fun as hell.
