Two things regarding cosplay

Hey all. This is going to be my second year at cosplaying, but, last year I went to AnimeNext and I didn't sign up for the actual cosplay (in other words I just dressed up for fun) because I didn't see anything where you can just walk on stage, show off your custume, and walk off. All the options I saw, you hadda preform a skit. I talked to Robert DeJesus and his wife, and they said there was indeed somewhere were you could have just walked on stage and showed off. So, while wondering through BAAF options, I'm wondering if there is something I don't see, and that you can indeed sign up for the cosplay and not have to preform a skit, rather just walk on stage and show your costume.

Another thing, minus well ask, if you can't just show your costume, are there any Digi Charat cosplayers who would like to make a complete embarresment of yourself on stage with me !?

Thanks for your help everyone!

I'm new to this whole thing too, but according to the site, they have two competitions. They have what they call a "Hall Competition" where just take your picture, and judge it. You don't have to do a skit. I think this is primarily for people who don't wanna peform on stage, since you can't enter both. I would go to the official site and check it out. You can register at the actual event, I think.

I believe BaaF offers just both walk ons and hall cosplay, butu can enter one with the same costume. There;s been institances i the past where ppl hve won for the same costme and that's not fair to the other cosplayers.

Ooh ok. Thanks you two
So, I just bring a camera, go to the *hall fashion competition*, have somone take my picture (or be skilled and take my own pic...^^'), then mail it in, right? I wish it was automatic...not that you'd have to wait till atleast sept 15 Like actually be judjed while your on stage...so much anticipation! Woo! Plus I take crappy pics and crappy poses ;.; But it'll still be fun! I wish I knew what date it was... I'll keep reading, I'm sure it has a date on the site somewhere. Thanks again so much!
