Getting spray paint off fake leather boots

Yea, I did a bad bad thing and spray painted my fake leather boots. [[I only needed them for one day, and figured that i would just get rid of them for whatever reason]]

I found them in my closet two years later. Tried them on, they feel amazing and comfy and confused me because I must have thought the boots were different.

Long story short, does anyone have an idea as to how to get the spray paint off it? I've tried rubbing alcohol, soap and water and a scrub brush, bleach cleaner... [[i promise you, not all at the same time...]]

My sister says i should just paint over them the color I want, because no one would look that closely at my shoes. but I don't want to do that.

I have a kind of sealant thing to make them waterproof though, so that would help. [[not a spray though]] but I can't put that on until I'm done getting the paint off.

I just used cheapo dollar spray paint from walmart. [[again, it was only for one day lol]]

Gasoline works good for getting spray paint to release... but don't do it near an open flame.

Paint Thinner works good also, but you are going to have to let it soak on for a while and you will have the same problem as the gasoline, but the gasoline should take it off almost instantly

Do any of you think that 'Goo-Gone' or Goop stuff would work? My sister says it would because it says on the label that it would get rid of paint, but I'm kinda afraid of trying it.
