Leeds Thought Bubble 2009

Well, it may be a bit early, but ach well!

Excellent news, Yorkshire folks!
A date has been set for the comic convention in Leeds, and it's going to be on Saturday the 21st of November.

So far no guests have been announced, but I wil update the post with guests etc.

I for one, already know I shall be in attendance, but I was wondering if anyone else had plans to go to this year's convention?

I'm not entirely sure whether or not I'll be going this year, I'm going to wait until I see the programme before making my mind up. Given that they put the price up, I think that if I do go I might cosplay this year. Maybe.

Yeah, I'll be there in cosplay defintly, I mean, I think £4 is a really really good price for the con. I found it enjoyable last year, I mean, it may not be the biggest con, but it's certainly a fun one.

I would suggest it, there was a great atmosphere last year, and a lot of great people there, in terms of artists/small press/writers etc

Any other conventions?

I might be going there but i also wanna no wen there r other conventions aswell in leeds. i heard recently there wud be somet called easter-con. But i hav found no trace of it at all. plz tell me bout the nxt conevntions and all.

eastercon was a sci-fi convention in bradford from 11-13th april

brought up as the first result from a google search.

I will DEFINITELY be there, as Harley Quinn! A few friends of mine attended last year, and loved it. I've heard nothing but good things about it. Plus I will be driving then, so travelling wont be such an issue then either.

i was just looking at the website, im a bit new to cosplaying (but still love it very much) and was wondering what sort of cosplay things they do (since if i go i will most likely be cosplaying) and apparently it's pay on the door for cosplayers?? anyone from the Castleford/Pontefract area going???
