General Site: - Site RulesPhotos: - How to Upload PhotosCostumes: - How to add a costumeEvents: - How to add an event to your profileForums: - How do I search the forums for already existing threads?Wig Store/Cosplay.com Shopping: - Frequently Asked Questions---------------------------------------- General Site: Site Rules: Available under the dark purple "Info" button and also at: http://www.cosplay.com/info/rules/ Site Staff: See here. Can I change my username? "We don't change usernames. There are many databases running on the site, and a username change is more than just flipping a switch in vBulletin, it requires modifying tables and entries in many, many sections of the databases whereby the usernames are placed directly into pre-cached database entries to speed the servers up quite a bit. Additionally, as mentioned earlier, because of the commercial nature of cosplay we do not allow username changes so that a user cannot hide from customers simply by re-creating their identity. The fee idea was proposed a long time ago due to the fact that we were seriously getting overrun by people changing their names three, four times on a whim. It is not in place, probably won't be, and so therefore is not even an issue." - Admin NOTE: There have been times when Admin has done batch username changes in the past, however it is very rare. Can I delete my account? See here. What if I'm being harassed? From the site rules: "11. See here. Posts not showing up? It is possible you are getting caught in the spam filter for new accounts. It is catching about 99% of the spam (spam reports have gone from about 30-40 per day to almost zero), but also catching a few valid posts. The mods have to manually check through them and see what's spam and what's not so please be patient if you can't find a post you made. Also see here. What can someone do if they can't post in the forums? Most likely their activation e-mail ended up in a bulk or spam folder. PM Admin or a moderator and they can fix it for you. What to do about duplicate posts? Use the "Report Bad Post" button (red & white underneath avatar) on it to have a moderator take care of it. What if a thread is in the wrong place?/Needs to be closed? See here. Wig Store/Cosplay.com Shopping: Frequently Asked Questions: See here. What should someone do if they are having problems with a Wig Store/Cosplay.com Shopping order? See here.

It's such a shame they are not allowing username changes yet, but I'll patiently wait. ^_^

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but in case it hasn't been
asked...is there any chance of getting flags put up under usernames again? |

I cannot say one way or the other if they will be coming back, but I assume it is a similar occurrence as with the Convention Planner's disappearance, as the back-end update of the forum software has forced Admin to redo all of the custom code and stylings which he had in place.

Thank you for at least giving me some sort of idea of what's been going
on. I am sorry that the Admin has so much on their hands and have to work on. I trust they are doing what they can and hope for the very best. |

You can't. . . yet. Admin is still working on that stuff, and a lot of the options in the costume cp are not accessible by anyone. Right now, the whole costume database thing is still really a beta release.
