Exclamation A little Help with Juri (Yu Yu Hakusho)

I wanna cosplay Juri from Yu Yu Hakusho. I'm not inclined when it comes to molding and stuff like that. I suppose I could just sew the tail, right?

Also what color (number wise) do you think would do?

Colorwise, it's a light blue. Sewing it shouldn't be a problem. You might want to check in the prop section. They might have better instructions or better ideas.

I actually just recently cosplayed as Juri (and won best in show award with it). I used an old pair of turquoise leggings and sewed them onto a wireframe which I then stuffed with stuffing that you can buy ay walmart. I followed that with a layer of spray on adhesive (so that the fabric wouldn't soak up paint) and before the adhesive was dry layered on some light blue spray paint. It is a bit hard to get an even coating but it ended up coming out really nice and, because of the wires, I could form it to whatever shape was easiest to walk around with. To get it to stay on me, I sewed a small pocket around a belt that I cinched around my waist. The belt isn't a big deal, because you can cover it with the pink fabric that goes around her waist. Here's how mine came out: http://www.cosplay.com/costume/242896/

The ears were made of sculpy then painted with the same spray paint as the tail, though I forgot them at home the day of the convention...
