What do your friends think about cosplaying? - Page 5

Actually all of my friends are Cosplayers too.
I'm SO happy that we're nearly all in the same school and class, so we can talk about cosplay without having someone who's like "Oo wut?".
I do have friends who are absolutely NOT into cosplay at all. They know what Anime is (they all watched Sailor Moon (some even Pokemon and of course Dragonball ) or Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne when it aired on TV in Germany ) and are okay with me as a cosplayer.
They think it's pretty cool that I can sew and make the props by myself. (They all freaked out about my Agito wings, because they think they're "sooo cute" and how I looked as Jasdero with the bodypaint etc. ) Other than that . . .hm yeah. They're actually all cool with it. As long as I don't try to convince them into cosplay (which I would never ever do. it's their choice, if they're interested in it, I tell them what I know, but if not, that's totally fine.)

I'm slowly converting all my friends over to cosplay, and my boyfriend. Muahaha. But, that being said I still have a few friends that do not understand the cosplay thing, so I just leave it out of those conversations.

errr well for my friends who know about cosplay... they cosplay too and I go to cons with them so its chill. My other friends...I don't tell them about it xD

But then again, it depends on my group of friends- confriends, classfriends or closefriends

As you can probably guess, it is the last two groups who think I'm a nutter

They call me a loser and don't wanna hang out with me anymore. They also spit in my bookbag and painted "NERD" on my violin case. In the words of Tupac: "Fuck Friendz".

In all seriousness, a good handful of them do cosplay so I guess they don't really care since, however, just a little small selection of friends don't know that I am thinking about cosplaying or do not know about it.

My friends are already weird so they seem okay with it. I've even had a couple ask to wear some of my old spare cosplays when they wanted to check out the con I go to. The rest are pretty much like, "Oh wow! It's so well made!" or "Oh my gosh, you're such a dork! But that's why I love you xD"

My three best friends are anime fans like me, but my friend who I have been trying to convert to like anime, does not like it at all

All my other friends think its pretty cool, but they would not do it themselves.

Yay. I'm actually happy. After showing a few of my friends the cosplay I made they're starting to get into it. I'm glad considering most of them thought cosplaying was a stupid waste of time at first.
Now to convince a few more people that it's not a waste of time. ^^

Most of my friends aren't cosplayers. The ones that like anime usually see my pictures and think they're cool. The ones that aren't into anime laugh, but always have something nice to say.

I've got friends who cosplay with me, which I suppose they think the same as me: it's fun.

But most of my other friends make fun of me. P: They think it's weird and dorky, which it is, can't change that fact.
They're always making jokes at me when they know a convention is coming up. I don't mind; most of the time I laugh along.
