What do your friends think about cosplaying? - Page 7

Some of my other friends and my brother also cosplay and they of course think it's cool that I do, but the ones who don't seems to be fine with it or they don't know about it.

Most of my friends are cosplayers, and those that aren't, they put up with me talking about it. But yeah, most of them do cosplay. So I have several group cosplays in the planning for each group of friends that do it. For the Quinte group, D. Gray-man is planned, for my boyfriend and T.O. friends, Fate/stay night.

I talked my boyfriend and my best pal into forming an Elite Beat Agents cosplay group - I'm so happy, it will be so much more fun once we have our cosplays together!
My other friends aren't that keen on it, but some of my internet pals like it a lot and have cosplayed in the past as well. I hoep I can go to a con with them one day.

Most of my friends cosplayed with me at one point or another. When I joined the army though that was a totally different story. Most of my army friends poked fun at first, but they ended up just wondering what type of stuff I could do and hitting me up for halloween costumes, lol.

All my friends know I cosplay. A couple of them cosplay themselves too.

To be quite frank, if they don't accept the fact that I do cosplay, they probably aren't worth having as friends.

The most of the friends who got me into anime/manga think it's werid (not that they don't appreciate the costumes.)
Most of the anime friends I have now cosplay (really well I might add...)
my normal friends are indifferent of the topic.

The good portion of my friends either cosplay themselves or just accept it as it is. I do have some people who are a little weird about the subject, but they're not too harsh about it.

As for the ones who don't, they're all nerds anyways so they just sort of smile and laugh when I mention it and always ask if they can borrow wigs when they go to costume parties. XD
I don't think I could have a friend who seriously bagged on my hobby. Thinking it's weird is one thing, but if they outright insult it to my face why would they be my friend?
