Looking good, MischaU. I'd like to see a photo that shows more of the costume. I've added you to the list.

I've been a Cadian 8th Regiment Guardsman for a few years now. It's still a favorite of mine, and still draws a fair amount of attention.

Question for the SoB cosplayers - How do you go about making the breastplates? I've been looking around for anything I can think of, but nothing comes to mind so far. The best I can think of is vacuum forming it, but I'd like to avoid having to make that kind of huge machinery when I really don't have space for it.

You should consider heat forming then.
It's the same thing as vacuum forming, without the vacuum. All you need is a heat gun and something that looks like what you're trying to replicate. If you're working with foam or plastic, this can be done very easily. However, you'd get a smoother piece doing it with vacuum forming... but a little sanding and bondo can take care of imperfections ![]()

Near the bottom of this post about Mass Effect armor there's a short description of how EvilFX made a breastplate without vacuforming.

Space Wolves
I am wanting to do a Space Wolf costume. Any help on how to start would be great. I am fairly new to costuming but I used to do SCA so I have a little experience. Thanks in advance. Or posibly an Apothicary

SvK sorry but that link to the Space Marine armor no longer works, the files on my website still work however in the Warhammer section. The site is http://pepakuracollection.wikia.com
