Selphie Tilmitt

I'm sorry this is such a terrible picture, but my camera cord is MIA. I've wanted to do this cosplay for a while since it seemed pretty inexpensive, so I gave it a go and didn't use a pattern. In retrospect, I probably should have used one and cut the dress in panels rather than top stitch all the detail lines.

The zipper pull isn't done drying but I should be able to add it tomorrow.

(The lighting didn't do this much justice.)

the only thing I see, a small detail.

maybe add a little white/gray buckle at the top of the boots? just the leather strap? you can just like...tie it around the top of the boots :3

Yeah, I still need to try getting my hair to flip out. I know I can do it, but I have lots of time to practice. XD

Braithcakes: I was just thinking that! I really don't want to go out and buy new boots since I'm strapped for cash, but I have a ton of brown vinyl at home that would work well for a set of belts. I also need to make a bracelet.

Eeeep!! I love it! All you need is her nunchucks! You can actually make them out of a broomstick. Cut it in half and attach a chain. Wooden dowels work well too.

It's so weird...I'm doing this cosplay too AND we both did Jill Valentine!? I have that same gun hostler btw lol.

Looks really great! I can't tell if you're wearing a necklace or not...according to my figurine she's got a necklace too. Also, since we can't see the back...did you do the two giant butt-pockets? lol... On both my figures they look like the pockets are a different shade of yellow than the rest of the dress, but I doubt that's a big deal.

I need to take a back shot, but yes, I did make the giant butt pockets. I have my necklace picked out, I just didn't put it on for the picture. X3

I bought two wooden dowels with like an inch diameter. I'm going to be making the Crescent Wish and I'm still on the lookout for something to make the moon and star out of.

Lady Valentine: That's awesome! Maybe we both just have really good taste? I love this holster so much... I think I paid like seven bucks for it. :P

May I suggest craft foam for the moon and star? Though I guess I suggest craft foam for everything....it could get bent easily if you're not careful though. Model magic would work if you want a more 3D shape, since it's much lighter than sculpy or other clays.

Just added the zipper pull. It's held on with hot glue until I decide that this is for sure the charm I'm going with. I feel like I could probably make it again, but I think it's pretty good if you're not up close with a magnifying glass. I've seen some pretty iffy ones made of cardboard and stuff, so by comparison, I think it's okay. XD

What do you guys think? Again, I'm sorry I can't post better pictures. ;_;
