Nightmare Inspector 2010

I and two friends will be cosplaying from the lesser known series Yumekui Kenbun (Nightmare Inspector). I'd be suprised to get a response from anyone, but I thought I'd post a thread in case someone might be interested in cosplaying from the series. If so, then a little meet-up would be wonderful. Characters in my group: Hiruko, Tsukishiro, and Hiruko's Original Baku form. We could always use a Hifumi for some pretty hysterical pictures.

And I scheduled the photoshoot at 9am on Saturday so as to be sure we got the Gazebo area. If youperhaps get a cosplay together and consider that too early, we can definately make changes.

Do you know what time? Saturday is going to be soooo crazy for me. Could we schedule it for the morning?

Also, do you have any suggestion on how to mod the cane. I got a good old wooden cane but am not too sure how to add the "extra" parts.

Plus, I deviantwatch you today as well. I love your Renji!

Ah. My friends and I will also be busy Saturday getting ready for a masquerade walk-on/craftsmanship judging, etc. But I've scheduled a mini-photoshoot for 9am in front of the gazebo on Saturday. If that's too early, we can probably do 10am. But I think that's as late as we can go for morning times.

For the glass orb in the top of the handle, I got a large glass bead from my local craft store (Joann Fabric) and the smallest dowel rod that would also thread the bead. Then drill a small opening into each end of the cane. Lastly glue each end of the dowel rod into the newly drilled inserts.

Ans as for the other details, I'l just going to use either foam core board, foamies, fabric, or whatever and build on top of the cane.

My jacket, leg coverings, and shirt are almost done. I'll have to post progress pics tonight. I'm so excited to find another Yumekui Kenbun fan! 8D
