Working on my Zombie Ryuma costume. Got the obi done, finish cutting up the pattern for the yukata (but I still have to draw on it), made some homemade geta wooden sandals, and currently getting my wig commission. Also I will be working on the katana later on in the spring. Its a slow moving process, but I'm working on two other costumes too. =P

@Uerria As for the original designs, I think you might be able to pull it off if you have facial features similar to the characters. If you do, then thumbs up to you. Otherwise I would still support the idea, but don't expect people to recognize you right off the bat.

I agree and want to add that I personally like when people come up with their own designs. It's quite neat to really get into the thought process of what the character would wear other than what they've been designed with, however, if you want to be recognized it might be an issue. But then again, the odds of recognition increase with the more characters you have, which also allows for awesome possibilities.

@SirLucis: I ran in some stupid problems with my Yukata pattern, but I think I figure out the problem...but I will post my final pictures of the costume as soon as I'm finish.

@WindNinjaDW Looking forward to seen your T. Law costume. How are you making the sword? And are you doing his Original version or Time Jump version?

If I can find it on trueswords.com or something, I might just buy it there. Also, I plan to go as pre-timeskip Law. I've never made a cosplay before, so I figured Law's outfit would be easy enough to sew. That way I can get my feet wet, you know?

Hey everyone! I'm doing a genderbent Shanks at Katsucon this year and was just curious about some opinions. How do think a Fem'Shanks would act? Of course I assume she would still be the fun, party loving, one armed captain we all know and love as a man but wanted to hear from fellow One Piece fans. =)
