Question World of Warcraft Cosplay, need help >.<

I know what cosplay I want to do but there is one part I just can't seem to figure out how to make it work. My cosplay will be the Warlock Dreadmist Set (Dungeon 1)

The part I need to help with is the whole helm part. Since it is a purple color and same as other parts I know I need to make one but I have no clue on how to start it. Anyone got any idea?
And then comes the back part that is attrached on it. Any ideas on materials for the basic part of it?

Thank you for your timing reading this.

I would say cut out the shape in cardboard (its cheap and easy to attach things to) and then just cover it with the cloth for your helm..
and you can find hoods/capes from patterns at joanns, just make sure you get enough fabric to cover the stand up part

and come join us in the WoW thread! lots of helpful tips and people!
