Unhappy Super Sentai/Power Rangers costume help?

Hello, for the past 2 months, I've been slowly working on Bouken Pink / Operation Overdrive Pink Ranger. I have several questions which keep plauging me:

Is there a way I can spray paint over pleather or vinyl boots to make them pink? I've heard rumors of fabric paint and car seat paint....

Does anyone have any suggestions for the metal trim and shoulder guards?

Everything else I can handle, but help on these topics would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Both Rust-Oleum and Dupli-color sell paint that can be applied to vinyl material; unfortunately, I am not sure if is available in the pink that you desire.

For the metal trim/shoulder guards, that part I am not sure on; my best guess would be to make it out of EVA foam, then give it a silver coat of paint. Good luck on you Boukenger costume.

Hmmm the armor piece can be done many many ways...

I would maybe suggest something easy like wonderflex? or maybe sculpting them and them making a mold and casting them in a flexible resin.
