March 28th - Odekake Live (Takamatsu/Shikoku)
On the off-chance that anyone is or will be semi-local ~ I'm planning to cosplay (with another foreign friend) at this event:

If anyone is keen to come out ~ I can put up a couch surfer on my extra futon comfortably, so you can count on a free place to crash. I live about a 30 minute walk (and 10 minute taxi ride) from the event hall. The event is super-small-scale as far as doujinshi goes ~ there are about 80-100 vendors, most with nothing but lamicards, stationary and goods. But they're local folks and very, very, very approachable. It's a great place to get your sketchbooks drawn in. Oddly enough, the cosplay is more popular than the doujin. Over 150 people participated in the last event... with costumes of pretty much all levels. It's a Cos-day event. If anyone wants to join us ~ please do. Shikoku is rather far from Tokyo
 You might find it more than a bit of a trek.
