I seriously can't stand this humidity this summer... I have to get to class by 8 o'clock and my walk from the cafeteria to my class room is only about a minute but just that this morning had me sweating ridiculously. .___.;;;

I've heard that next week's weather will be less brutal, though. Thankfully I'm in the Hilton for Otakon, so runs for food will be the only time I go outside, besides the occasional outdoor photo-op.

Carroll County resident of Maryland, born and raised. This will be my third Otakon...I have not been able to attend Katsucon yet. Its me and my daughter, we have cosplayed Bleach so far. There have been some talks of something else, but honestly I really like the shinigami outfit and swords.

Its been a lot of fun for us. And any excuse to wear costumes and carry a big sword...I'm in. This is the first year where I've made most of the costumes and props. Props I can usually manage. Fabric is something new for me. I actually borrowed my ex's sewing machine! Between sewing and fabric glue I think I have slapped together a few decent costumes. My youngest (5 years) even has a cosplay this year for Sunday.

I don't know about other parts of Maryland but I am SO glad for this break in the heat in Baltimore. Hopefully now I won't have to worry about melting in my costume TOMORROW!!! *gahissoexcited*
