Fabric Choice Help - Silent Hill
I'm making the Schism:
http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/1...hism_super.jpg It's gonna be plushie-fied like my Liger Zero costume. I'd like to know what fabrics would be best to make the bodysuit/neck out of, since I can't exactly go around a convention mostly naked. ![]() Also, what's the best method to permanently make it look bloody, if I'm using one solid skin-tone colored fabric? And what fabric would suit the blade? |

i would suggest going for custom request. It would save the hassle in finding the right materials. the costume you want to make is very tough. i hope you can work something out. good luck!

Schism Mats
I want to make the costume myself; the fabric is my only issue.

you should use something light weight yet durable..and easy to dye into a disgusting dead grey brown skin color...
dont use canvas it becomes rock hard when trying to make it bloody and nasty..you could even use a light weight cotton in you wanted.... your going to need to have a support system in the middle of it all anyways or your plush will just droop
