Is the Location. And Cosplay Picnics are where groups of Cosplayers get together and hang out. Food and games will be there as well. Cosplay chess is also going to be played if we get enough people.

Convergence is a Sci-Fi/Anime convention. So anime cosplay will be there as well as Sci-Fi.

Most of us will be in cosplay. But it's not a requirement to be in that. Feel free to stop buy for some fun. We have lots-o-things to do. And we don't bite.

But yea if you can make it Great. It will help us get to our proper chess pieces. 11-6 in Burnsville. Come have some fun.

Okay I think I am definitely going to be able to make it to the picnic, if I can find the park. Where are you guys meeting once you get to the park?

My friend okayed me to drag her along.

Wish my boyfriend would come, but I haven't sufficiently converted him to anime yet. Must work harder on conversion :P

Nice. Um when you get to the park. Look for 2 Otaku wearing Kimono's by the a covered pavillion. That is where it will be at. Or if you make it later in the day look for Aizen Sosuke and other cosplayers.

The cosplay chess picnic was fun, despite my awful cough. D: Story time with the princesses was amazing. XD

I felt awkward without cat ears for Kirara, but I lost them. D: Oh well...I guess I'll have to buy a new pair soon along with my tail.

Yeah we made it, about three hours late and missed the chess tournament, which was the whole point of it.

But we got to read stories. So it was still fun.

@ Xuki, YAY! You're alive!

Something I learned this summer...my mom does not approve of my cosplay...apparently the more I talk about it, the weirder she gets with her not-so-subtle hints. She hopes my getting a job 'cures' me of this... like I have too much time on my hands. Which is so not true, I try to stay busy when I'm not engaged in some form of school. So... I either give up cosplay, start being dishonest and lie, or I could try and stop talking about it and carry on my hobby without bringing up the subject. I may try that last one and seeing as i'm finally going to get my own room in the basement, away from everyone, this might help. i could run off with the Sears sewing machine and sew in private!
