Adam West Batman cowl

I'm a first time cosplayer. I will be cosplaying the Riddler in a few weeks. However, I plan to cosplay the Adam West Batman for St. Louis Wizardcon, as Adam West and Burt Ward will be making appearances.

My problem is the cowl. I have no idea how to do it. Any suggestion are welcome. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I think he had a couple different costumes, so you need to give us a link to the specific thing you have in mind.
Nothing is impossible, but some things are very expensive. Instagram: penlowe
My Etsy shop: I make non-fitted custom things to ship within the continental US. I only do fitted garments for those whom I can meet in person.

I went to the Q&A after a cosplay contest this past weekend. The guy who had a great Adam West Batman said that there is a pattern available made from one of the original TV costumes. It had dimensions for everything. He also said that the inside of his cowl had a cap (I think he said baseball cap with the brim removed) and a basic mask to keep it rigid.

I remember that the original cowl was all fabric on the outside. Look for photos from various angles to locate the seams. The info from Medieval Girl explains how the cowl kept it's shape.
