I'm going to eventually cosplay Kazu from Air Gear, but I have a couple questions that hopefully people could help me out with.

1. In the manga version, is his hoodie white, or light blue? I've seen both, and I've also seen it long-sleeved and short-sleeved. Does he change it with the seasons?

2. What is the kanji that sometimes is written on his hoodie? I thought it would be a nice addition to get it embroidered on the hoodie, but I don't know what it says or how to look it up.

3. Does anyone know how to get actual 2-wheeled rollerblades? I've seen them, I know they exist, just don't know where to look. This one's not too important, as I plan on getting a pair of Heelys to run around cons with, since most won't let me inside with rollerblades, but they'd be nice for a photoshoot or something.

Oh!Great is so inconsistent with his work, I wouldn't worry too much about the colour. In the anime it is light blue, however, the anime can be quite inaccurate, such as with Agito/Akito.

I'm not sure how to help with the kanji, I apologize.

The two wheeled roller baldes can be obtained throgh eBay, however, the wheels are rather small on all of the ones I've seen. There's a tutorial here and a few on YouTube if you make an "Air Treck" search, and modify the tutorials to your need. I know this member, Raknorak made Kazu's Air Trecks, so you can probably PM them for assistance.

Just a warning that getting some sneakers that look like his skates/normal shoes is a better option then heelyz, lots of centers are banning (and going so far as to take the wheels from people) them as they're a danger to others and property.

Tried to post earlier but my net was messing up...

Zerofox: I figured that was the problem with the colour. I may go with light blue just because my beanie is slightly off-white and it wouldn't match a white hoodie that well, but I don't wanna buy a new one.

CloudFox: actually, I've discovered he has both a white and a light blue one. So, I've decided to do the blue one and make it short sleeved. Much cooler for summer Tampa weather.

My next goal is to try and figure out how to make the Flame Regalia. >.>........

When it comes to the kanji on the back it all depends on which jacket you are going to wear. If your going for the black and white leather jacket it has the Kogarasumaru logo on the back. If your talking about the blue one... I don't recall seeing kanji on the back of that one. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, I wasn't really sure of much of the character when I posted this, so I wasn't really clear. Eventually I will make the Kogarasumaru jacket. In the mean time, I've made his short-sleeved hoodie (I chose to make it blue) and soon I'll make the long-sleeved hoodie (white). There is a particular manga cover that I can't track down right now, with Kogarasumaru in their goofy little team pose, and they each have a kanji on their shirts (not the Kogasu jackets). I think Ikki's says "captain" and Kazu's says something like "2nd captain" or something. I decided that when I make the white hoodie, I'll wear it by itself (even once I make the jacket), and for decoration I want to put that kanji on it. When I get a chance I'll come back and post the picture with the kanji that I'm looking for so maybe someone can interpret it.
