Washing a wig?

Anyone know of any good tutorials?
I need to get a shizload of hairspray out of my wig and I wanna know how to wash it properly to get it out.

And does the type of shampoo and conditioner HAVE to be for synthetic hair? o: Or does it not matter?

If you haven't glued anything, the swish and rinse usually works great... I am going to take the hair spray out of my Hitsugaya wig like that. If you have the money, they do sell wig shampoo, but regular human shampoo doesn't hurt, but I wouldn't use it unless just rinsing with water doesn't work.

I use baby shampoo with cool water to wash the wig I just washed that had a whole bunch of hairspray and gel in it. I let it sit for a little bit (holding onto the wig) than gently rubbed the tough spots, and rinsed in another bin with cool water. Worked pretty well, though some spots were still a bit sticky.. you could repeat Just don't be rough with the wig.

Any human shampoo or conditioner will work fine. Dish soap works fine. Hand soap works fine. Wig fiber is plastic, and nothing sold to wash humans can harm it.

Is there something in particular you should use if you've put got2b glue on the wig already?

Exactly this. I used my Herbal Essences "Drama Clean" on my wig and it didn't hurt it. And that is the stuff the strips oil outta your hair.
