Detangling a wet wig?
I just washed a punky XL. I tried brushing it to get the knots out, but it's all tangled at the bottom.
Should I wait for it to dry, or something~? O: Or is there something I can do to detangle it and let it dry straight.

Don't comb out a wig while it's wet, it's just going to make things worse. Most wigs get tangles when you wash them, but if you comb it out when it's dry, they come out easier. Also since it's a long wig, a wig brush or even just a small dog brush (that's what I use) is a good investment to have on you if the wig decides to tangle while you're wearing it.

Never brush a wig while it's wet. You'll stretch the fibers. Wait until it's dry to do any sort of brushing on it or you'll end up with a bunch of small curly broken hairs.

Wait for it to dry, than brush it out with a wig brush or a wide tooth comb. You can try spraying in some mist conditioner as well

I wouldn't comb it fully when wet, but I usually find I can at least work out a few tangles with my fingers when a wig's still damp and not have any damage. Then once dry if it's still getting knotted up, some wig conditioner like Mane n' Tail or Motions Oil Sheen wll work wonders at detangling.

WIG BRUSH! not while it's wet - but once it dries a wig brush is AMAZING - you can pick one up at a Sally Beauty Supply if you have one near you.
Also - try not to just drag the brush through your wig as you would your normal hair, when you get to a snag you're going to have to work at it for quite a while, or you'll end up with all kinds of split ends and terrible-ness. Good luck!
