Code Geass - Ashford Academy Help

I'm in need of some assistance with a Code Geass cosplay. I plan to cosplay as Milly Ashford with my brother as Lelouch, both in the Ashford Academy uniform. I've cosplayed before (as Deidara) and have a good understanding of how to sew, and have an idea for what type of fabric to use. However, coming up with a pattern has proven to be a problem.

After spending a few hours at Jo-Anne's, I found some patterns that were close to the Ashford Academy uniform, but not quite. So my request is for any suggestions for a pattern, something to base the uniform off, or any ideas on how to tackle certain parts of the uniform (like the girl's collar and front). And also what I should do about the symbols on the boy's collar and girl's tie. Any help is greatly appreciated!

References: Milly, male, male opened up.

okay, the ones that are close are useful, you can either get a kind of clear paper to go over it and use that as a base making a new one, or make on too big and adjust the pins untill it looks right to you-then make a pattern off of that and maybe upload it somewhere incase someone else has this problem. ^o^

I've seen the jacket done as a zipped top with the flap over it or with the literal flap in the front only secured by the buttons. I don't know how to sew, but I wonder if you made a jacket with a square-shaped cut in the front then try to just experiment with the collar after that, maybe that'd help?
Darn you CLAMP for being so amazing and having crazy outfits...

Does anyone else have a suggestion because I've been wanting to make the female uniform, too, but I've made a mistake on the pattern choice, which has led to a horrible cosplay. If anyone else has a suggestion please comment!
