Question about "dropping in" at A-kon
Okay, here's my dilemma. I am not going to A-kon this year because I won't have the time to spend all day every day and I don't want to waste my money buying a badge if I am not even going to be there.
However, there are two artist's booths in the Artist Alley that I REALLY want to drop by on the first day and purchase a few things, and then leave. I am wondering if I will get in trouble for walking in and buying some stuff from the booths? I know I will be able to go full time next year, and I don't want to ruin my future years at A-kon by getting in trouble, but I reaaaallly want to buy some merchandise!! What are yall's thoughts? |

You won't. In fact, chances are nobody will even pay you any mind. My dad didn't have a badge but he was still able to wander around the artist alley area with us a couple of years ago without any trouble at all.
You'll be fine, so don't worry about it. |

You do not need a badge for Artist's Alley. You won't get any trouble unless you're blocking paths or trying to get into the Dealer's Room.
