haruko costume help!
hi! yeah, im new to this.... so, i want to do a haruko costume from FLCL, but have no idea what to do for the guitar and hair (i would just dye my hair, but i dont want to cut it, and i'd have to bleach the blue out....)if any1 has advice, do tell, i really need help!

Sounds like a wig is your only option. ^^ There are short light pink wigs available, and since halloween is coming soon you might be able to pick one up cheap. As far as the guitar goes...I was lucky enough to have a friend with a bass he let me spraypaint blue. (So lucky!) But I've seen lots of other creative solutions: from cardboard mockups to inflatable ones! Inflatable ones are fun since you can run around beating people with them and people don't get too upset.
 And cardboard ones can look surprisingly decent. Anyway, lots of luck to you! Have fun!  |

Hmm...thats's a tough decision...though if your hair isn't too long, it won't take too long to grow back...esp. since the real thing usually looks better than a wig... but you can take the wig off, you wouldn't be stuck with Haruko hair for months on end...

i probably will cut and dye it. the pink and shorter hair isnt the problem, per say...the problem will be how long im gonna get grounded for dying it pink.it was about 2 weeks for when i dyed it blue..lol
